Kyla Nelson has been involved in grief support ministry for several years. Kyla currently serves as facilitator for the Grief Share Ministry at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, and joins the Dream Land Pet Memorial Center Staff as a grief counselor. 

She has also served in a leadership role with Happy Tails Pet Therapy in Atlanta. In her ten years with Happy Tails, she has visited hundreds of senior citizens and special needs children, spreading joy and unconditional love with the help of her two Irish Wheaten Terriers.  Tragically, Kyla lost both of her furry children in 2008 to illness.

She lives in Woodstock with her husband Robin, and Son Chris.
