Our Facilities
Dream Land Pet Memorial Center is located in the Historic District of
beautiful Kennesaw, GA. Dream Land historical location is also known as
the “Old C.N. Price Home”, which was originally constructed in 1885.
The house was the home of the Calvin Price Family, who is listed in
census records as a boot maker. Price had a stand in the rear of the
downtown building and later served as Postmaster of Kennesaw. In 1898,
the house was sold to J.T. Mayfield, a brakeman employed by the Western
& Atlantic Railroad. Most recently, the house was utilized as an
antique store and tea room.
The building may be described as a gabled-ell house with several
elements indicating the Queen Anne Style. The right front façade of the
home features a multi light picture window with stained glass
sidelights, while the front gable-end of the façade features wood
shingles. The roof structure is covered with a tin roof.
In late 2006, the Marcy Family converted the Price Home into the first
Pet Funeral Home in Georgia. With some TLC, including paint,
landscaping and furnishings, Dream Land offers the charm of a small
town funeral home.
Please come visit our cozy facility, join us on the front porch for a
cup of coffee, and see why people from around the State choose Dream Land for their beloved pet’s services.
